2007 Black Girls Rock Awards - Afterparty

You can’t have a bunch of stars in New York City without an afterparty. And the party after for the Black Girls Rock at the Maritime Hotel was dope. Stringer Bell Idris Elba was in charge of MC duties, and the whole night evolved into what can only be called 5 the hard way…5 DJs, for 16 bars, no interruptions. Oh, and Rockport was sponsoring the whole thing, so free food and free kicks.

These Rockport kicks are comfortable as hell. (And no, Rockport did not bribe me to say that.)
