2007 Black Girls Rock Awards - Afterparty

You can’t have a bunch of stars in New York City without an afterparty. And the party after for the Black Girls Rock at the Maritime Hotel was dope. ~~Stringer Bell~~ Idris Elba was in charge of MC duties, and the whole night evolved into what can only be called 5 the hard way…5 DJs, for 16 bars, no interruptions. Oh, and Rockport was sponsoring the whole thing, so free food and free kicks.

I was at that event. Music, ladies, free kicks and great people. Rock port definitly knows how to have a dope party. Shouts to hakeem of rock port for the invite.

The party was good!
The people were beautiful!
The food was tasty (and free)!

I now have a new favorite shoe brand.The free shoes I got are comfortable as hell! Cudos to “Da Port”!
