Zion I Remixes Radiohead

Radiohead - Weird Fishes (Amplive Remix)
Radiohead - Nude (Amplive Remix)

Most of y’all know that I consider Radiohead’s In Rainbows one of the greatest albums of 2007. If you haven’t gotten it yet, please do. You can download it for free until today, but honestly, its worth going to Best Buy and getting the real CD when it drops.

Although the album has been an Internet phenomenon and the album has won praise in underground circles, Zion I producer Amplive is the first producer to step up and remix In Rainbows. Rainydayz Remixes is an 8 track remix album featuring Too Short and other Bay Area artists. The album will drop January 10 and be free, however to get a copy you’ll have to forward any confirmation email from Radiohead’s W.A.S.T.E. online store (like the one you get when you download In Rainbows) to amplive@onesevensevensix.com.

Getting the tracks will require a little bit of effort on your part, but if the rest of the project is like the two tracks posted above then its worth it. The whole thing is pure marketing genius at its finest. Hopefully more (good quality) Radiohead remixes will drop in the future. (via Rhythm Lab)

Thanks for posting this. Definitely a banger! Oh, and I am such a believer in the Radiohead album. I got it a few days before the pay-what-you-want thing ended. All I can say is “Wow.” It’s THAT good.

Happy holidays, guys!
