ART: Björk x MoMA = An EPIC Retrospective Exhibition
Its great to know that we aren’t the only ones who thinks that Björk’ is one of the worlds most interesting people. It was announced that in 2015 The Museum of Modern Art will present a full-scale retrospective dedicated to the work of the artist, composer, and musician. The exhibition Björk will pull from more than 20 years of her projects, as well as her seven full length albums. The exhibition organized by Klaus Biesenbach, Chief curator at Large at MoMa and director of MoMa PS1 will chronicle her colorful career through sound, film, visuals, instruments, objects, costumes—don’t ask about the swan dress, but who knows it might be there, and performance.
Oh it doesn’t stop there, Björk’s collaborations with photographers, video directors, fashion designers, and artists will be featured, and the exhibition will have a newly commissioned, music and film experience by director Andrew Huang and 3-D design leader Autodesk.
Björk will be on view from March 7 through June 7, 2015
