CMJ Preview: Denitia & Sene
The woman/man duo has been a regular part of R&B since its inception. From soaring duets to Tammi & Marvin to the consistent rhythm of Groove Theory, these artists have been instrumental in advancing our ideas of love and relationships. The most recent entry into this arena is Denitia & Sene. Both known for their solo work, these two recently joined forces to deliver an EP "blah blah blah" filled with songs that pop with electrosoul goodness. While Sene pens the lyrics,Denitiacroons them perfectly with the right mix of dreaminess and urgency. That sound is evidenced in one of the tracks "she's not the only one".
