MIX: The Couch Sessions Presents: The Circus (CMJ Edition)

As the seasons change The Couch Sessions is still going strong.  This fall we're bringing The Circus to its rightful place,  New York City. With artists from all over the country linking up under the big top that is Drom NYC, October 16th is shaping up to leave an imprint on CMJ as well as your ear. It's time to celebrate the thriving music scene in the melting pot.

You won’t want to miss performances by Circus Alumn such as The Kickdrums (NYC), Tiron & Ayomari (Los Angeles), as well as Dee Goodz (Nashville), Cheers Elephant (Philly), Misun (DC), SZA (St. Louis), Sene and Denetia (NYC), Bianca Raquel (NYC). And more acts to be confirmed!

Our Couch Sessions resident, DJ Run P. put together a preview of the soundscape you'll be enjoying during the 2012 CMJ Circus that includes many of the artists who'll be filling the air with their distinct sounds originating from the West, Midwest, South, and Northeast.  This mix will  keep your heart warm as you commute, shop, drink, work, and dance your way into the colder months.
