EVENT PREVIEW: Food Loves Tech -- November 2 + 3, 2018

Food nerds, assemble - Food Loves Tech is back for its third year, coming to Industry City on November 2 and 3. Presented by Edible Manhattan and Edible Brooklyn, the food innovation expo focuses on how technology shapes the way we cultivate and consume food, allowing attendees to experience exhibits, panels, demos, and of course, tastings.
A number of well-known chefs and panelists will be showcasing their talents, such as Chef Suzanne Cupps (Untitled), Chef Michael Anthony (Gramercy Tavern), Chef Bill Telepan (Oceana), Chef Marco Canora (Hearth), Chef Sohui Kim (Insa Brooklyn), Chef Simone Tong (Little Tong Noodle Shop), David Barber (co-owner of Blue Hill), Danielle Nierenburg (president of Food Tank), and a number of others. Panels will explore topics such as sustainable seafood, preventing food waste, food technology for restaurants, urban agriculture, and more. Vendors will be available sampling products, and a networking lounge will also be available for industry professionals.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, November 2 with Future of the Cocktail, an event showcasing the future of cocktails, where bartenders will gather the newest spirits and tools to create, essentially, “the bar of tomorrow.”
Tickets for Food Loves Tech and the Future of Cocktail can be purchased here.
