LIVE: Bob Moses Electrifies at Red Bull's 30 Days in LA
Canadian electro-pop duo Bob Moses has had one hell of a year. Between performing at some of the hottest music festivals, discovering that Ellen is a huge fan (and performing on her show), headlining a tour, and dropping a deluxe edition of their 2015 release Days Gone By, they've seemingly gotten no rest. This past Friday night was no different. Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance performed in front of a sold out crowd at the Wiltern as part of the Red Bull's 30 Days in LA series. DJ Mike Shannon set the tone early on the turntables, while Red Bull laced early arrivers with bandanas featuring art by Teddy Kelly, parking perks, and a mixtape.
Bob Moses, nearing the end of their current tour, took to the stage with an elaborate light show and electrifying performance that had fans entranced. Jimmy Vallance brought hype energy on the keys (and the tambourine) while Tom Howie brought sultriness on the guitar. A drummer rounded out their sound to give songs like "Tearing Me Up" that extra thump that kept the crowd jumping and dancing throughout the night. It was the perfect way forget about the week and kickstart the weekend!
