LIVE: Restoration Rocks in Brooklyn

Popping up seven years ago when hipsters were still afraid of moving into Bedford Stuyvesant, Restoration Rocks! has always been a fun family friendly day of food, goods and live music. This year's edition was curated by Leon who playfully flirted with the ladies in the audience. Questlove came on early and spun a set of tunes that had people dancing down the avenue. Perpetually cute Chrisette Michele came to show her home town love, poet David Mills kept everyone conscious minded, seasoned songstress Maya Azucena got down with her band and backup singers, and Big Daddy Kane came on and slayed it like he usually does (with a pitch perfect energetic backing band rappers take note and stop hiring cut rate musicians).
