Red Bull Sound Select #30DaysInLA Announcement Party [LA]

 
For the third year, Red Bull Sound Select is planning a city wide takeover of Los Angeles for the month of November. The #30DaysInLA series lineup was just announced with a rooftop soiree in Hollywood atop one of the neighborhoods latest additions, NeueHouse. Free specialty drinks washed down waiter served finger foods as guests listened to live music including an acoustic set by Canadian electronic outfit, Bob Moses.
 
This year, as with the last two, combines established indie acts and buzzed about newcomers with some of the Sound Select artists Red Bull has been incubating through their monthly showcases throughout the city. Legendary concert halls to pop ups at studios become the venues for these shows that carry a very low ticket price since profit isn’t the goal here. Gone this year are some of the activities that switched up the vibe, so, many will miss the roller skating, movie night, wax museum DJ party and other unique gatherings experienced in the past. Highlights include several events with surprise guest performers curated by OWSLA Records (Skrillex’s LA based EDM label), Fake Shore Drive (Chicago based Hip-Hop blog), Brownies & Lemonade (popular LA based EDM party), Laneway (Australian festival), LA’s legendary Stones Throw Records and the Afropunk Fancy Dress Ball.
