The reasoning behind me choosing these tunes for the Couch Seesions Memorial Day mix is this: I put myself in the frame of mind of what would I like to hear as the soundtrack for my Memorial Day? I wanted the music to start in a manner that pulled in and/or attracted the listener. Not you average mixtape where the Dj goes for his guns from the 1st drop, but one that builds. Truthfully a bed of music that starts with the listener on the couch, to the shower, to the closet, to the whip, to the cookout, to the party and onto whatever.... This is where my head was at when I put this joint together. So let's go on a musical trip. You are the Captain of the ship and I am providing all the necessary fuel for us to move forward.
