Duo 2 Peep (From Sweden): Hanna & Beatr8

The creative music coming out of Sweden (or just Europe in general) is flowing uncontrollably these days. It's to the point where it's literally becoming almost impossible to keep up with all the up-and-coming talented artists overseas, who are looking to make their mark on these internet streets. But fortunately for you music heads (also known as our readers) we are grinding it out to keep you informed on all things dope.

Our latest gem comes from a vocalist named Hanna Olsson and her partner in beats, producer David Levisson. Together they go by the name of Hanna & Beatr8 and their soulful- jazzy-alt sound is one to certainly peep out. Currently residing in Gothenburg (west-coast of Sweden) the duo have been making hip hop influenced music together for a couple of years and received decent accolades when they released an EP called Bow Down/Core of Love in April 2008.

Fast forward to 2010 and Hanna & Beatr8 have just released a new video for a song called "FLOWERS" and it's evident that the two have been working hard on developing and evolving their sound. Hanna definitely has a gift with melody that goes well with Beatr8's electronic/R&B beats. The unsigned duo are gearing up to release new tunes soon but for now peep some of their music below.
