EVENT PREVIEW: Foo Fighters 4th Of July 2015 in DC

Foo Fighters are set to throw a massive 20^th Birthday party in the Nations Capitol on Independence Day 2015! Dave Grohl currently has the music world buzzing with his new HBO docu-series, Sonic Highways.  The budding auteur followed up his 2013 doc Sound City with the cable show that follows Foo Fighters to some of the U.S.’s prominent music cities as they recorded their latest album.  Upon the premier of the Washington DC episode, Grohl was inspired to do a big July 4^th concert in his home town.  Something bigger than they’ve ever done before as a headlining act.

Next summer the Fighters will be joined by legendary musicians Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Heart, Joan Jett, LL Cool J w/ Z-Trip, Trouble Funk (DC Go-Go pioneers) and Trombone Shorty.  Each are featured on the Sonic Highways show and the eclectic group bring the sound of the country together on the most patriotic day of the year.
