The Couch Sessions has teamed up with the one and only Cosmo Baker (The Rub, NYC) for this special mix, titled Longing. It's almost 2 hours of classic love song bliss. Forget what you heard, or what baby-making music is. It's almost 2 hours of Bliss. As Cosmo puts it:

When I was asked to do this mix FOR LOVE for the February jumpoff, I know a lot of people expected to stay in my lane and do my old school soul burners. But I was compelled to take a different approach, not necessarily to challenge myself or the listeners, but more so because of a driving need to play outside of the comfort zone of what a "love song" is supposed to be. But every single one of these records strikes to the core, with a sense of deep LONGING. Such passion in each one, they all effect me very deeply. And instead of making this more of a conventional online mix, the only thing that I kept on thinking of over and over again was what it was like when you were younger, and you made an actual MIX TAPE for someone. Very deliberate and methodical, even more so than a DJ mix in ways. You selected and programed these songs to be your voice when you couldn't find yours.
