My current 'it' right now is the group Blonde Redhead.  Three very talented and very stylish music 'vets' who are awesome at making gorgeous music sound completely effortless.  I actually saw photos of Blonde Redhead before I heard the music of Blonde Redhead (see pics below). So being the dope fashionista that I am (half kidding), their vintage-contemporary LES (Lower East Side)-like steeze instantly had me on a light fiend for more.

Here's what I know: Blonde Redhead is comprised of twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace and their super beautiful Japanese vocalist Kazu Makino. Spit out of NYC by way of Milan, Montreal and  Boston the trio first tasted success in 1995 with the release of their debut indie punk rock album, Blonde Redhead. 15 years, eight albums, one soundtrack, hand-fulls of EP's/singles, and a more evolved sound later - the group is riding on a new killer high with their latest LP Penny Sparkle (named after Kazu's horse). A unique electro-rock  album dusted with intrigue and sexiness fit to sound "perfect on any type of listening device"

Blonde Redheads single  “Not Getting There” has been going crazy on the nets (peep it below) and they are currently on tour in the States (making a stop in DC on Halloween night!); check their website Blonde-Redhead.com for more deets.
