If you are a fan of soul music then surely Jill Scott and her amazing voice rank very high on your favourite artists list. Although it seems as if none of her latest albums have been as 'commercially' successful as her 2000 stellar debut, Who is Jill Scott, she has consistently released a steady stream of music that has sneaked past mostly everyone except for her die-hard fans. And those die-harders were always pleased with the results.

In 2004 Jill released her third studio album titled Beautifully Human: Words And Sounds Vol. 2. One of the stand out tracks was "Spring Summer Feeling" a beautiful love ballad (co-written by Raphael Saadiq) that showcased Jill's superb vocal ability. I loved it and played it repeatedly that summer.

However, this weekend my favourite DC DJ Jahsonic shared an incredible remix of "Spring Summer Feeling"  that I had no idea even existed. Produced by Chicago house music DJ Ron Trent, this version is a wonderfully pleasing mix of house, acid jazz and electro that gives the song a whole new life for nine blissful minutes.

It is simply amazing and should be peeped ASAP.
