IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Tuxedo (Mayer Hawthorne + Pharrell?)

It's been a pretty good year for R&B lately. With both Miguel and Frank Ocean getting critical and commercial rewards and Justin Timberlake coming back strong with The 20/20 Experience, it seems that the genre is at a very good place creatively.

However with all of the hoopla surrounding those releases lately, you might have not noticed a three song EP by a mysterious group called Tuexedo. All we know is that the project is the work of the music industry heavy hitters. The money is on Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One, however my girlfriend and I noticed some Pharrell on backup vocals on "Home Tonight." Hopefully label politics will not prevent more of this music from coming out. It's setting the right mood for the summer, check it.
