IN THE MIX: The Mint Collective Presents A Tribute to Vinia Mojica

Pardon me. My mailbox gets clogged with so much crappy hip-hop that I miss gems like this one. Jacqueline and company put together this rather stellar mix in tribute to unsung goddess Vinia Mojica. The Queens singer was featured on many collabos, from Heavy D, to Tribe, to De La Soul. Even to this decade, she is still putting in work, but interestingly enough she never put out a full project of her own.

This mix, curated by DJ Seano, marks maybe the first time we've seen a collection of her work in one setting. The tracks are skillfully blended together and marks a fitting tribute to one of the queens of underground hip-hop.
