MUSIC: DVSN - One In A Million (AaliyahRemix)

Continuing the trend of Drake's fascination with Aaliyah we now have his signees (and solid group on their own) DVSN's remix of her "One In A Million". It's a ballsy song to remix considering it was arguably the first hit single she had that showcased her work with Timbaland and Missy which would be the songwriting blueprint for most of her career. DVSN adds a bunch of atmospheric flourishes and wisely avoids getting in the way of the dopeness already on the track. DVSN has just dropped their album Sept 5th on March 27th which can be confusing but the music; straight forward atmospheric R&B, definitely isn't. Check it out on itunes here.
