MUSIC: Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.

Kendrick Lamar released a surprise record late last night. Called untitled unmastered. it's music presumably from the To Pimp A Butterfly sessions (at least according to the 'date' next to each track listing). It has the same jazzy vibe as that record but with a heavier, dare I say it, neo-soul vibe. It's not all incense and patchouli oil though; the first track has a distinct Wu-Tang era dissonant loop as a base and there are other curve balls sprinkled throughout the record such as fellow Black Hippie Alum Jay Rock dropping a verse.
