NYC Summerstage is back in 2016

Right before NYC's insufferable weather goes from bleak winter to furnace level humid heat there is a small period of peace and tranquility from May to June. The kids are playing in the parks, and the free shows start to kick in. The best of these are consistently NYC's Summerstage, brought to you by their Parks Department. This year you've got Kamasi Washington, Public Enemy, Goldink, Terence Blanchard, Black Moon, Neon Indian among others...it's a particularly stacked lineup this year.
