MUSIC: Owiny Sigoma Band - Harpoon Land (Hello Skinny Remix)

Organic dance music by the way of England and Kenya, Owiny Sigoma Band (whew) just released a new track remixed by their drummer. It's a trippy song with vocals that fades in an out which seems to be the first thing producers fuck with when they remix stuff. But vocals are never really the point with an Owiny Sigoma track; it's all about the way the beat, the melodies and the cultures clash together. They just released their latest album on Gilles Peterson label.

Owiny Sigoma Band is supporting Radiohead's Thom Yorke while he cheats on his main gig with Atoms for Peace.
