MUSIC: Party with Public Enemy & The Roots at National Museum of African American History and Culture
The National Museum of African American History and Culture aka the Black Smithsonian is kicking off Sept 24th with its grand opening AND free concert on the lawn. Featuring Public Enemy, The Roots, Living Color, Experience Unlimited, Meshell Ndegeocello and a secret headliner the final night it's basically going to be the place to be in the DC area and arguably the entire North East for that weekend. In other Public Enemy news it seems the group had time to get involved with some cool merchandize for the fans, specifically an action figure set:
which you can pre-order for your favorite child (just kidding, we know you're buying it for yourself) right here.
You can also check out more on the events surrounding the museum opening here.
