MUSIC: Prince Paul - It’s Not The Size of Your Mix It’s How You Use It

If there was ever a hip-hop hall of fame Prince Paul would have to be one of the first inductees even if he never put anything out after the first De La Soul album. However, the reason why Prince Paul has stayed an important part of hip-hop three decades in his career is how well he pushes the boundries of what hip-hop is, while at the same time tackling everything he does with a youthful exuberance. You get the impression that the musical eagerness he tackles a project with in 2015 is the same he was doing in 1988. He released a new mixtape, "It’s Not The Size of Your Mix It’s How You Use It" and its filled with classics. Hear him tell it:
"Its not the size of your mix its how you use it" is a collection of songs that I never get to hear outside of my iPod . I based this mix on songs I like to listen to not artist or popularity . This will probably be the start of a few Mixes I will make this year ..
