Taking a break from his indie filmmaker career the most successful R&B singer-songwriter of the modern era returns with a new album. Hate on him if you will(and there is plenty of reasons why) but he is pretty much the blueprint that all modern mainstream R&B singers come from: even someone who tries their best to stay from stereotypical R&B sounds like the Weeknd using his music as an influence. In an already crowed market of foul mouthed male R&B singers, this is his attempt to re-affirm his place at the top of the throne.
