As we edge towards Vince Staples highly anticipated debut double album Summertime '06 debut album he's dropped a new song called "Get Paid" which isn't as celebratory as you would think...it's more like the anti-summer banger. "Get Paid" is more of a dark cynical look at how money works in the hood, and it's not pretty, "Selling Pussy on the stroll/selling highs for the low/running in somebody home/money is the means of control" are the handful of bars Desi Mo drops in the end, which sums up the whole song.
