MUSIC: VisionQuest
Visionquest are: Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtis and they've been bringing their vision of home grown Detroit techno on tour across the world for years. In small poor villages like Ibiza and Paris where they are forced to listen to really bad dance music they bring much needed auditory nourishment. They take club goers who’ve only been raised on a diet of Avicii and try to leave them smarter, more discerning partygoers. Id argue that their work in the field helps us all, the more they convert it makes it less likely that the Swedish House Mafia will reform.

Frequent collaborators, they got their name from a retreat they would periodically take in remote Michigan cabin where they would work on beats.

They plan on bringing their ministry back to the states with a first stop in Brooklyn, New York. Due to the huge turnover in the local populace due to gentrification there’s been signs of bad music taste everywhere; I personally heard a group of people riding in a car by last Friday night singing Ace of Base at the top of their lungs. They will set up at Output on November 22nd and will be serving the fashionably unkempt masses all night long.
