NEW MUSIC: Damon Albarn - The Marvelous Dream

I've always stressed that Damon Albarn is a genius. The former Blur and current Gorilaz frontman has been busy lately with a new opera--yes, opera. Dr. Dee, an English Opera is his tribute to John Dee, 16th century scientist and psychic. Not the type of stuff to burn up the pop charts, but I'm sure the dude dosen't really care what you think. The Marvelous Dream is the first track off of the soundtrack to the opera, which he is releasing this year.

The Marvelous Dream dosn't sound very operatic, but it's a rather low key way to start your weekend. Check it.
