NEW MUSIC: Lianne La Havas

The UK strikes again.

In the past few years, the nation has churned out some rather amazing talent, both in the pop music realms and in the underground. The latest addition to this musical spectrum is 21 year old singer Lianne La Havas. Just like her UK brethren, she combines soulful vocals with rather amazing songwriting and dare I say instrument playing.

But what strikes me is the simplicity of her music. Forget all of the overproduced and over-processed pop music these days, Lianne can control a room with just a guitar and her voice. Simply amazing.
