SBTRKT Feat. Yukimi Nagano - Wildfire

I never heard of this SBTRKT guy until today (and don't even think to ask me how to pronounce that 'name'); but his mask rocks and he was able to get the awesome Yukimi Negano to hop on one of his tracks. So with that, he must not be too bad of a guy.

The scoop has it that SBTRKT is a DJ/Producer from South London who is signed to the Young Turks label - also home to The xx. He's been dropping heated singles online for quite a while -  but he is just now finally slated to drop his self-titled debut album on June 28.

The official jump-off single is called "Wildfire" and it stars Little Dragon's leading lady singing over some soulful spaced-out beats. As Stone once said to me way back when, 'Yukimi Negano would sound great reading the telephone book'  - and I agree. However, I'm not going completely bananas over this song just yet. Still need to give it a couple more listens - but it caught my ear and I'm definitely interested in hearing more from dude. What y'all think?
