Yes, I understand that much will be made about Ms. Azealia Banks in 2012 (we first wrote about her in 2010). The Brits are already saying she's the coolest person of the year (while ignoring some of their home grown talent) and her failed XL deal still landed her a slot with producer Paul Epworth (Adele). But what strikes me is her rapping over house influenced beats (like Lone's [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3HPKH3w9so[/youtube]), the likes I haven't seen since Queen Latifah's "Come Into My House," back in the day.
