Blues based indie rock group The Black Keys stop through Subsoniq this week to speak on their new collaborative effort with Dame Dash titled “BlakRoc”. The album features live studio recordings with some of the most skilled and respected emcees/producers in hip hop (Raekwon, Mos Def, Q-Tip, Rza, Jim Jones). Hear the band speak on how the project came about, how it was decided which emcees would be on the album, and what kinds of doors they hope it will open for them and listeners alike.
