The Couch Sessions Previews…CMJ Music Marathon

Every Fall, hundreds of artists, college radio promoters, labels, and media members descend on New York city for the annual College Music Journal Music Marathon, better known as CMJ.

With the musical landscape changing on a daily basis, festivals like CMJ have become essential, and bands from all over the world use the festival as a springboard to radio airplay, label deals, and media features. Now in it's 30th year, CMJ will bring together over 700 bands and thousands of spectators and fans over the course of 5 days, in multiple New York City venues.

Over the next couple days we will previewing some bands that you should be checking out at CMJ this year, and check our event calendar for essential parties and shows that we recommend for any Couch Sessions reader.
