UK Tings: Tinie Tempah - Frisky

We were first introduced to Tinie Tempah back in January with his track "Pass Out." Who would know back then that the UK MC would have the largest selling single of the year and finally bring the long-shunned UK urban scene to the forefront?

I loved "Pass Out," because, quite simply, it's the best hip-hop beat I've heard in the past 2 years. Even though their music has pretty much been replaced by US artists (at least on the urban side) the UK still excels at beatmaking and Tinie's producer Labrinth lays down some rather amazing breaks. Having that said, "Frisky" is an obvious rehash of "Pass Out." Kind of sad when you think about it because I know this combination has a lot of potential.
