Video 2 Peep: Belleruche - Clockwatching
I've just hopped on the bandwagon that is Belleruche and I have no plans of falling off anytime soon. Unbeknownst to my azz, Belleruche has been rocking folks headphones since 2007 when they dropped their first EP titled Turntable Soul Music - which is a pretty accurate way to describe their sound. The UK trio is comprised of vocalist Kathrin deBoer, guitarist Ricky Fabulous and 'turntablist' DJ Modest and collectively they have a sound that blends very nicely together; a large part due to Kathrin's intoxicating scratchy vocals which heavily compliments her boys DJ and guitar skills.
"Clockwatching" is the first single from Belleruche's upcoming third album, 270 Stories which is set to drop October 11. If this is any indication as to how '270' will sound then we are in store for some serious hotness. "Clockwatching" is a little edgier/grittier than some of their previous songs - which doesn't mean its lacking in soul, it's just increased in the funk and rock departments. And yeah, the video is dope too.
"Clockwatching" will be released as a single August 23, peep the video (and some extras) below and for more info check them out on their website.
