VIDEO: Nick Hakim “Pour Another” Live

The Couch Sessions covered one of rising soloist, Nick Hakim’s, fist live performances alongside fledgling, Emily King. Since then, Hakim has picked up screeching traction with his latest EP Where Will We Go.  Namely, “Pour Another”, set to intimate in-studio acoustics, renders the lulling tune that much sweeter. Hakim’s voice is cogent. Lithe and seductive, Hakim’s vocal performance pairs well with the live rendition,  its time signature speed up just enough to make the downtempo original into something of a folk ballad. More proof of his versatility, this unexpected version gives great expectation of what the young Nick Hakim can do.
