SCREEN: Nore Davis...Born In The Hood

Comedian Nore Davis has self produced a promotional video for his debut live stand-up comedy album “Home Game”.  Nore brings his bit “Born In The Hood” to life with a little help from Grizz Chapman (30 Rock), and Damien Lemon (Guy Code).
Filmed in the comedian’s hometown of Yonkers, New York, the video’s narration taken from “Home Game” illustrates Nore’s recognition of growing up on the rough side of town, but his disdain for the term Born In The Hood.  
Now a little more about Nore Davis and his album “Home Game”.
Fresh off his performance in the 2014 New Faces Of Comedy Showcase at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Nore Davis has cemented himself as a rising star in the world of comedy.  Nore, known for his energetic performances and magnetic stage presence, has appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, and Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV.  His talents have also earned him television-acting roles on shows that include, Inside Amy SchumerLast Week Tonight and the Emmy award winning HBO series Boardwalk Empire.

Home Game was recorded live at the legendary Comic Strip Live comedy club in New York City, where Nore (along with a long roster of comedy legends such as Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock) has spent countless nights on stage refining his comedic skills.  On his debut album he covers the topics of life that touch us all, from health and wealth, to friends, and family, in a style of wit that connects with audiences of all ages.  Nore seems to find the humor in the everyday interactions that define us all, and his comedy hits so close to home you might discover you aren’t laughing at him you’re laughing at yourself through his jokes.
