BITE OF THE MOMENT: The Dog House [NYC]

Working on Hudson Street in Soho has definite lunch time advantages.  Food trucks pull up early and stay all day, satisfying any craving you could possibly have from cheeseburgers to lobster rolls.  But there's a new kid on the block: The Dog House, serving up artisanal hot dogs on Spring Street between Varick and Hudson. This week I gave both options a go and have to say, I'll be coming back for more.  The Griddled Dizzy Dog was the perfect lunchtime treat--fully loaded with a not-so-spicy jalapeno remoulade and a delicious corn bread cracker crumble on top.  The Yumm Meatless Dog was good--but I'd prefer the real deal hot dog next time!
