DRINK: Anfora [NYC]

If you're looking for a romantic date spot, look no further than Anfora in the West Village.  The atmosphere is dark and cozy and the wines and beers are just fancy enough that you feel like you're treating yourself.
I've actually been here a few times, as a couple of my friends live around the corner.  This is their go-to spot and it's a nice one at that.  As we approach fall and winter, this place is perfect since it's a bit dark and there's no outdoor seating to speak of.
Here's a great date night idea: get an early table at Corner Bistro (literally right around the corner) for some cheap but delicious burgers and then head over for wine at Anfora.  The perfect combination of classic New York right there.
