EVENT PREVIEW: Grapes and Grains Festival [Long Branch, NJ]
Calling all sommeliers and cicerones! This Saturday, May 31, the Grapes and Grains Festival will be popping up at the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, New Jersey from 4 to 8 p.m. With a spread of over 80 different kinds of wine and beer from across the country, there is a thirst quencher for everyone (21 and up, anyway). This festival brings you libations from the best craft breweries and wineries and provides four hours of unlimited tastings for only $40 dollars in advance ($50 dollars at the door).
With all that booze flowing, you might be thinking that you will need something in your stomach to keep you walking straight. Fear not! There will be a selection of food vendors for you to get your snack on in between sips. And regardless of the title, this event does not stop at grapes and grains--the BStreetBand (a tribute to Bruce Springsteen) will be performing live! Does it get any more Jersey than this?
Get your tickets ahead of time to save a few bucks and come out this Saturday to stimulate all your senses with the smell of ocean air, delicious drinks, live music, and yummy eats.
And if you can't make it to Long Branch this Saturday, this festival will be making its way to Atlantic City on June 7 and Portland, Maine on June 21.
