EVENT PREVIEW: The Village Voice's 8th Annual Choice Eats Tasting Event

If I really wanted to slack off, I could just refer you to this and this and you'd get the general gist of it, but this event deserves more than just that. For the eighth year in a row, the Village Voice is presenting Choice Eats, which is basically just a big fat food extravaganza filled with dishes from vendors all over the city. This year, they've got over 68 restaurants showcasing special dishes, such as Brucie, Fletcher's, The East Pole, Meatball Shop, Luke's Lobster, Veselka, and the list goes on, and on, and on. Wash it all down with all kinds of beer, wine, liquor, and a live DJ, and this is easily my favorite food event of the year. Family obligations are pulling me away from this one, but make sure you tag all your posts with #ChoiceEats to ensure my serious FOMO.
