There are plenty of all you can drink and all you can eat sushi places around.  And I've been to several of them.  But last night, a group of 14 of us went to Kiku Sushi in Chelsea and it was far and away the best experience.
First of all, when we called, they were very accommodating and said they could take reservations for up to 30 people!  A few of us walked in a few minutes early (more like 20 to be correct) and they let us order drinks before the rest of the group got there and included it in our all you can drink.  There was no real time limit that we were aware of, but we were probably there for about 2 hours, which is more than enough time if you think about it.  We all ordered the $28 all you can eat sushi plus an extra $7 for all you can drink, which included sake, wine and Sapporo.  Once our server knew we were all doing that, he brought out several ice cold beers and warm sake for the table, which was perfect.  A few of us had some wine as well but it was nice to have the drinks flowing from the start.
The way you order here is you fill out a card and the quantity you want of each sushi roll.  There were tons to choose from and loads of appetizers as well.  You never leave those places hungry but the food here was very good.  Even if it wasn't all you could eat/drink I would love to come back just for the sushi.  As it's so easy to over order in these situations, we had about 10 pieces of sushi left and it wasn't an issue at all.  Some places will charge you for it, but maybe we didn't have enough extra but after all was said and done we each spent $46.  That price for great sushi, never ending drinks, and a table with all of your friends?  100% worth it.
