FOOD: Mud [NYC]

Mud is the perfect East Village brunch spot.  It's completely unassuming, has great coffee, and the price doesn't make you want to cry.
Because it's such a great spot, it does tend to get pretty crowded so I would recommend going early and willing to wait an hour.  Also, small groups are probably best here, as most places around here tend to be, since the space is pretty tight.  But for around $15 you can get brunch, coffee, and a mimosa--now that is what brunch should be!
Not only is the coffee amazing, but the food is, too.  I don't normally go for the more breakfast items, but the almond French toast is absolutely worth changing it up.
Oh, and no real surprise, but it is cash only so come prepared!
