I recently had lunch at Parm at the Vesey Street location and was pleasantly surprised.  I had heard good things at work about Parm but had never been.  Walking in, it sort of looks like an old school diner, which was very surprising.  It didn't strike me as an Italian restaurant, and the prices on the menu didn't really match the decor so I was a little nervous.  I thought that it was only a good option because it's literally across the street from the building where I work.
It seemed a bit crowded, probably because of the proximity to a bunch of office buildings, but we got a table quickly.  The sandwich menu I realized, is on the table and not on the actual menu that hand to you, which I thought was a bit odd.  One of the girls at the table ordered something assuming they didn't have sandwiches but quickly changed her order when we realized we could.  No use spending upwards of $18 on a platter when lunch time is really made for sandwiches.
We ended up ordering the same thing--the chicken parm sandwich.  And it was everything I wanted it to be.  It was big, but not HUGE, which is actually ok.  I think it was $11, which is a bit steep for lunch in my opinion, but it was that good.  I would definitely come back and treat myself once a month or so.  We also got an order of fries for the table, which was perfect because there were a lot.  They were also a bit fancy and smelled like truffles and herbs.  Now I'm getting hungry as I write this...and I think a trip to Parm may be in my future this week.
I'd recommend this place if you're looking for really good food and don't mind spending what may seem like dinner prices.  Everything that we had was very good and I already can't wait to go back.
