FOOD: Sweet Revenge [NYC]

Sometimes (ok fine, often times) the best kept secrets in New York are right under your nose.  Which brings me to a super cute hidden happy hour spot idea: Sweet Revenge in the West Village.
Here's the scenario: you're meeting up with one or more friends and the happy hour location is up to you.  You want something intimate so that you can actually hear each other talk, a prime neighborhood so that you can get dinner after, and somewhere that doesn't resemble a dive of any kind.  Not that there's anything wrong with dives; I love them.  But not for situations like this.
Try Sweet Revenge.  This dessert outpost is actually perfect for happy hour.  You can sip a glass of wine AND enjoy one of their amazing cupcakes for only $10!  And if you're feeling really crazy they also have a wine slushie that is just as good as it sounds.  It's not included in the happy hour, but if there are any balmy days left of this year, drinking one of those is how I want to spend it.
