The Four Horsemen is basically a wine bar in Williamsburg that happens to serve incredible food. And also happens to be owned by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem.

I came here on a Wednesday night with five girlfriends and we all ended up ordering and sharing everything. The menu changes daily and I think we ordered a good portion of the menu. Favorites included the beef tartare, gnocchi, rosette de lyon, sea scallops, yellowfin tuna and surprising to me, the lettuce wraps. Everything was fresh and raw and it was so incredibly delicious that we should have ordered more. Some of the plates, most of them actually, were a bit small to share between six people so if you want to try out more things and not spend a ton, I would recommend going with four people max. The place also isn't that big.

For the wine, we went with a rose since it was about 80 degrees that night and it just felt right. And it was delicious. Half of us took a picture of the bottle so that we could find it again in the real world.

I would absolutely come back here, especially for a date night or a night where I'm not super hungry and want a really good bottle of wine with excellent food to pair it with.
