The Hester Street Fair returns this Saturday, April 27, from 10 am-6 pm, and features favorites such as Little Muenster, Luke's Lobster, Melt Bakery, and our friends at Imperial Woodpecker Sno-Balls.  Check out the fair every Saturday until October 26th at the corner of Hester and Essex.

Swing by the recently opened Dead Rabbit this weekend - they'll be honoring Ernest Hemingway with two nights of cocktails and talks ("Hemingway in Havana" and "Hemingway in Paris") inspired by the late author's work.  Pick up tickets here.

It's a weekend full of Japanese sweets over in Edgewater, NJ - the Japanese Sweets Fair will be at Mitsuwa Marketplace (the largest Japanese supermarket in the US!) with goodies imported from Kyoto such as sweet yams and matcha.

So this is just after the weekend, but - need to sharpen your knife skills?  Take the Pie Corps Knife Skills Technique class on Monday, April 29 from 7-10 pm - for $60, you'll learn how to handle, care for, and use your knife, learn different cutting techniques, and whip up a salad and stir-fry with all the new tricks you learned.
