FILM: The Res Documentary

If you read The Couch Sessions, then you're probably a fan of the R&B singer Res. Back in 2001, she dropped the critically acclaimed album How I Do, which was penned by a then unknown Santigold. Although the album was a classic it was a little too forward thinking for a world which was enraptured by Britney and Christina at the time.

Res has been making her mark on the industry since then, as the frontwoman for the Talib Kweli duo Idol Warship and as a songwriter. If you've ever heard Res tell her industry stores then you know she has more than enough material to fill up a documentary.
