FILM: Zoe Kravitz stars in Yelling to The Sky
It seems like Zoe Kravitz is following her father's footsteps not only in music, but in film as well.
Coming off a stint in X-Men First Class, Kravitz stars in the independent film Yelling to the Sky, which premieres in New York next Friday. In the film, she plays, as the press release says "an introspective and shy inner-city teenager who unsuccessfully tries to quietly blend into the crowded halls of her high school." Coming of age stories are not new in cinema, but this intriguing tale has gotten my attention, not only because of Kravitz but for a cast of solid actors: Gabourey Sidibe (Precious) and Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) among others.
