FASHION: Scary Beautiful Shoes

The shoes, which are named Scary Beautiful are a collaboration between artist Leonie van der Vyver and Dutch shoe designer René van den Berg and are supposed to serve as a commentary on today's impossible beauty standards. Watch the video to see how the model struggles to walk in this unique shoes. This is a perfect example of using fashion to bring awareness. Although fashion can be fun for many, for some it causes them to compare themselves to impossible standards. With new campaigns such as Dove's Real Women campaigns, slowly we are changing the ideals of beauty and fashion for ALL instead of just some.
