STYLE: Altamont Peacock Collection

It all started with Camo, then Digi (aka Urban) Camo which led to animal print and for the summer we saw floral print everywhere. The Peacock is an animal with beautiful features but in Men's streetwear  fashion we've seen a lot of cheetah or zebra print. The Altamont Peacock collection really does an amazing job with using the peacock print to provide pieces that stand out but are not obnoxiously loud. With allover print hats, to pockets that pop off basic tees, there is variety for everyone in this collection. The colors are derived from the rich hues in which we see in the wild on these incredible birds. The Peacock collection features fabrics dyed in Bali with traditional batik style. The technique uses wax-resist hand dying that brings out the blues and grays of the feathers to portray the fluid underlying pattern.
